Our Glen Avenue Gators were quite entertained at our PBIS Assembly this week! Students and staff came together to put on a fantastic show on our Snap & Roll expectations and appropriate behaviors in school. Great job, Gators!

Congratulations to Ms. Jamie Handy, who was voted Best School Bus Driver for Wicomico County in the Reader’s Poll for Best of Coastal Style Magazine 2023. This morning when she arrived at Glen Avenue Elementary School, Handy was celebrated by the school staff and the Gator!

The Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services invites parents of students with disabilities to the first Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) meeting of the school year. The meetings is scheduled for September 21, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The hybrid meeting will take place in the Media Center at Prince Street Elementary School. Wicomico County Public Schools joins our country in remembering the importance of September 11th each year. The 9/11 anniversary is also Patriot Day, and the National Day of Service and Remembrance. It's an important date for all to reflect on the lives lost and service given.
