Next week is a full week of school, but Winter Break will soon be upon us. Here are key dates to keep in mind for Winter Break.

If you are a high school student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and are interested in attending a field trip to University of Delaware for a campus tour, please check your Google Classroom for your permission slip, or see Mrs. Driscoll in the guidance office. Slips are due 12/19

Mrs. Jones' 8th grade ELA class created Mini-Theme Parks about their independent books. The theme park structure effectively and creatively connects to the novel and represents the key elements of the novel with an effective layout and aesthetics. Students needed to create characters, shows, rides, and merchandise that connected to the novel in a logical way that reflects depth of though and creativity.

Wednesday - Dress Like Santa Day

Monday's holiday spirit day was dress like your favorite holiday movie. Each day, staff nominate students who have the best themed outfits. One middle school student and one high school student is randomly selected for a holiday surprise. Today's winners are James Elliott and Brenna McGee.

Congratulations to Ruby Twining on earning a spot in the Junior All State Choir! Ruby was one of only 5 vocalists on the Eastern Shore, 3 from Wicomico County, and the ONLY Soprano on the Eastern Shore to earn a spot!

Note for Monday, Dec. 8: Term 2 mid-term progress reports will come out Dec. 8 for students in grades 1-12. Be sure to review the progress report with the student to celebrate successes and set goals at the midpoint of the marking term.
